International Federation of Journalists

Dear Colleagues,

We are urging all photographers not to sign the contracts. Our unions in France have written to AFP management calling on the company to withdraw the contracts and negotiate a fair collective agreement.

They have not done so. So we are launching a campaign of action to oppose the changes. Help us use our collective strength to stand up to exploitation and stand up for fair contracts. If any of your members have received the contracts please let us know…and please ensure your freelance photographers are aware of the unions’ call not to sign the contracts. We have set up a digital campaign letter targeting AFP. Please feature the campaign on your website. Please urge your members to take action now.

For all the campaign information see http://www.ifj.org/campaigns/afp-stop-the-rights-grabfair-contracts-for-all/
